Based on a true story
Renee knows she has issues with substances, but finding the courage to face her demons is something she just isn’t sure will “fix” her situation. In addition, Renee’s mind doesn’t allow her to see each new day as being any different from the next so time and interactions with the same type of people become blurred. She interacts with her girlfriend- wanting, hoping, needing, to be told she is loved, but never believing it when it is said. She interacts with a drug counselor, but the sessions are blurred because of how many times she has been to treatment. In fact, the only real person she acknowledges is Jeff- a heroin addict who speaks her language. Will she make it? No addict can ever answer that question until they shuffle off this mortal coil.

It would be awesome to see a project developed from concept to distribution entirely on Steem, using it's platform to fund raise along the way.
We hope to achieve this with our next film. This film is basically the jumpstart for exactly that. So, if you have any suggestions we are all ears. This is uncharted territory for most film.
I'd say you're in a good spot because the first people to attempt anything have a leg up. Plus whales in steem seem to support anything that will help the network grow and look good. Would also be great press for local papers etc. But as always content is king so work on making the best product possible.
Yeah our press to local papers are going out this or next week. Thank you for the info though. This makes me more excited to be here. We hope to bring our audience here. Which has been happening. I would love to learn how to grab the attention we need to raise money for our next film.
Most of the stuff behind the scenes in Steem is happening on Discord. Look up all the relevant channels for what you're doing (fundraising, movies, etc) and you'll find people chatting and curators looking for premium content. It's the best way to network on Steem. Good luck.
