Great nostalgia indeed! I remember playing this but I played a TON of HoMM2 which is my favorite in the series. Even did hotseat where me and my friends took turns playing :)

Oh yes, I played together with my brother and our cousins a couple of times aswell :D
I started with HoMM4. Tried 3, but by then I was used to 4, so it is still my favorite now!
