Chef's and their Action Station

More & more hotel's buffet section now has what we call an ACTION STATION. So, what does it mean ? The word kinda says it all. Its an Action Station for the Chef to display their culinary skills, be it cooking, slicing or anything else.

What I have here is an Egyptian Chef who's expertly slicing the beef for guests during the lunch meal period. Look at how focused & precise he is. During a short interview, he said that he's aspired to be a Chef since he was young. Hiding around the corners, he would sneek peak into the kitchen & see what his mom is cooking. Being a homemaker, cooking is essential to all womens & a must to be good in it too. After reaching his teenage years, he would then move himself up from his mom's kitchen to the nearby * so to speak high class restaurants. I later found out that these high class restaurants are like *mamak stalls to us.

Nevertheless, Chef has definitely excel to the oversees market. Looks how well he's doing now. Thumb up !!
