There is no need for a plan to eliminate murder. That’s a utopian idea. Private companies are already building roads. Voluntaryism makes the realistic and moral suggestion that violence isn’t necessary for peace. Anything that says someone must be violated for order to exist is a position out of touch with both ethics and reality.
In the imaginary world of anarchism and voluntaryism I think murders, rapes and theft would be much higher.
As long as there are bad people in the world we will need to combat them with violence.
In addition although voluntaryism is nice on paper economies of scale are real. It's a bit of a pain to be off grid or for a small group of individuals to make their own grid. Generally private companies are not going to build roads for free and would expect to get paid for it.
Under voluntaryism and anarchism if someone has a problem with you couldn't they execute you if they feel like it? If you support individualism why would somebody care if someone else got murdered especially if they could just take your stuff if they knew you were dead?
I assume people would step forward and do charity under voluntaryism but if not would it be ok for hospitals to deny medical care for people who can not pay and let them bleed out? What about ambulances? Just not show up if people can't pay?
Higher than the 262 million murdered by the state in the last century alone? Why do you think that?
Private organizations already exist to fulfill any need. Many times individuals don’t get the eki they need due to government enforced synthetic monopolies.
You should check out some David Friedman videos on private law society.
By the way, the tragedies you’ve described are already happening now under the violent statist paradigm.
Regardless, forcing non-violent individuals to live as you dictate via a forced-backed monopoly on violence (the state) can never be ethical.
Human interaction should be consensual, don’t you agree?

262 million does sound bad but we could do that in a year in the USA if shtf and we move towards "Freedom" and total anarchy.
Economies of scale do exist especially with things like water, sewer, electricity and garbage collection.
You are right though with anarchy we could have assassins for hire and there would be no laws against it.
Research why we have governments. Yes they do currently suck but I'm not sure now would be a good time to try and completely eliminate them and let ignorant sheeple do whatever they want. I think we need to educate sheeple and put better people into power.

Yeah but only because people would set up quasi governments and gangs that have laws. Hopefully the quasi governments would win. It's not necessarily certain though the voluntaryists would win if they were really voluntaryists. If the thugs banded together and had the better weapons they might have a chance but yeah the "anarchists" would probably band together and "volunteer" time and money for a police force. lol
Hopefully they would donate money to help the old and sick but if not I guess they would just die.
It would be interesting who would claim the roads once the government is gone. There could be a lot of money to be made for thugs to charge tolls.
Yeah, the thugs in government would be out of work. The vast majority of peaceful and voluntary people would get along just fine without them too. The minority of predators and thugs wouldn't last long.
Yeah so suddenly if we get anarchy which would probably be due to a government and economic collapse the majority of people will suddenly rise up and fix everything. lol
There are a LOT of people in big cities who would enjoy getting free stuff. Would you go outside the store and try and stop them? lol
I think you underestimate the thugs we have out in society.
I think my shtf plan is probably a LOT different than yours. lol
Good luck telling your neighbors how wonderful everything is if shtf. Maybe they won't kill you but if there is a food shortage I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Ahh, this is the classic "People are bad, so we need a government made up of people" thought process. All you do by creating a system that protects some over others, gives them special rights, and double standards under the law is provide a place for the minority of predators among us to go to more easily rule over and abuse others.
