Michelle Ocean County NJ DYFS workers intimidating conniving tactics.
This video was recorded around 11PM. As you can tell, the children were sound asleep. We later found out a neighbor called the police around dinner time that evening when she heard a baby crying, she may have even said screaming, not sure. The child she heard would have been our then 4 year old daughter throwing a fit because her mother had scolded her about reaching for a pot on the stove. I recall asking my daughter that if she was going to have a tantrum to just be courteous enough to take it to her bedroom until she calms down enough to talk.
This video actually captures the second time the police knocked on the door. They were there about a half hour earlier asking to perform a welfare check on the children. I advised them that they would need probable cause, a warrant and to kick the door in. They threatened to return with a CPS worker. I reminded them about the warrant. The next knock I was ready with the camera.
This all ended in each of the 8 or so cop cars eventually pulling away leaving the CPS worker to finish making notes in her car and ultimately returning to her office with nothing to report other than never having gained entrance to the residence. We never even opened the door you see in the video.
The case was closed quickly and I forced their legal team to reexamine and reword one of their statutes.
How could I forget?!? @wwf got on the phone to talk me through this situation while the cops were at the door. My dad also stepped in and called the police sergeant to let him know there were witnesses closely monitoring the situation.

What is so interesting is that the Social Worker TOTALLY tried to intimidate you acting like she had some unquestionable legal right to enter your home and start an investigation -- and YET she never did come back with a court order and never did gain entrance to your house!

They are gigantic bullies and use trickery to gain rights that they do not have unless you willingly give up your own rights.
Imagine what could have happened to your wonderful family if such a manipulative lying social worker had been allowed to gain entry and was able to play all the tricks in her book to get your precious children away from you.
The lesson is:
DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME WITHOUT A WARRANT, because most of the time they do not have enough evidence against you to get that warrant UNLESS you give your permission to let them enter and give them the ability to snoop around and manipulate the situation until they DO find something that they can tell a Judge to get him to finally issue a warrant for the removal of your children.
Most people don't realize that even though statutes and regulations outline their duties, it rarely outlines the peoples duties. Just because they have a duty to investigate, there is no duty to cooperate in that investigation. In fact, many court ruling show that they have police powers and as such nobody has a duty to even talk to them. Why? Because anything you say can and will be used AGAINST you but never for you in a court of law. So even with the court order, nobody has a duty to start talking and answering questions. they get frustrated because it makes their job a whole lot tougher - which it should be. The burden is on them, not the people. If they don't like it, find another job. Their hands are tied for a reason, because the state gave them powers. With great power comes great responsibility and restrictions to that power to ensure it is not abused in any way. Who is responsible to ensure they don't abuse their power?

All the most obvious expected responses of course. I share this so that families will learn that it they are doing nothing wrong it isn't that you have nothing to hide, it's that you should have nothing to fear.
That was a long night. I'm glad that it all worked out. It is sooooo important that people know their rights and the limits that these pirates, child abductors and thieves have within the scope of their office. Thank you for sharing this. I forgot that I was helping you over the phone. It was a good reminder.

What a nerve-wracking experience it was. I have another video to share at some point of me in a municipal court for having run a stop sign on my pedal bicycle.

Awesome thing it is for one to know his rights and be bold to ask for its enforcement. Kinda different for some developing and underdeveloped countries where rights are not obeyed.
