Fitness chat 1 - Exercising: Don't overdo it!

The best way to motivate yourself to exercise regularly, in my opinion, is to do an exercise that you LOVE doing. The downside of this is that you could over-exercise, and that can result in injury, or just aches and pains, as I found this week.

It's important to listen to your body and know when to stop and take a rest. If you ignore these important signals, you could do more serious damage which could put you out of action for a long time.

So take it step by step, allow yourself rest days, and don't force too much discipline on yourself when your body is crying out for a break. This is a lesson that I need to learn!
