I think it is a good idea.
Good timing to be a witness now cause
SMT is going to be big and more witness
give more support to the blockchain.

That's a great point and actually one I didn't consider. I imagine a lot of people aren't as interested right now because of the low price of Steem. But I think that will change soon. So best to get setup now. :)
