It is great to know that there are some steemian here in steemit that protects children. Here in the Philippines, there is a big difference of handling children by the social worker. The social worker in our place is friendly. They did not abused their power to get the children from their parents, instead what they do, they help the parents and give them a counseling. They advocate laws pertaining to women and children in the community and schools. We have a lot of laws that protect children from abuse. The child may only get from their home and transferred to the social worker center if there is an incestuous rape happen in their family and of course the transfer of the child has a consent from the mother or the children were being trafficked by their parents.
