This maybe a silly question but is there way to know the timing of those 500K blocks?
The delegation option lasts until the end of the ICO which is October 31st, right?
I should have been more clear here. This period last until the last day of the overall ICO period. The first round covers October with 20%, followed by 128 daily rounds that represent 40%. These end around March 20th, 2019.

Steem Block Explorer is a great place to learn about the dynamic properties of the blockchain. Currently we are around 26,694,780... which counts up every 3 seconds.
I'll delegate some SP tommorow when my voting mana recovers a little bit.
