Chihuahua dog
The Chihuahua dog breed or also called Chihuahueños is a canine breed that comes from Mexico. It receives its name from the Mexican state of Chihuahua, where it was discovered. Unlike the belief that exists in some countries that the dog gave the name to the state, the word Chihuahua means "arid and sandy place" in the language of the Rarámuri people. Although it is known in many places in the world as Chihuahua, the official name of the breed is Chihuahuan and it is also considered the smallest dog breed in the world. Chihuahua is the name that is commonly adopted in the United States
