They save me, I don’t save them.

A lot of people ask me why I choose to take in foster puppies. I sometimes think it is more for me than it is for the dogs, or my children. I know I’m not emotionally stable. I can say this honestly, because I am currently sitting on my bathroom floor after bawling my eyes out for the last half hour, for the second time today. It gives me comfort to know I am at least doing something. It also gives me comfort when I’m crying and the dog comes over to me and wants attention and gives attention . It will sit here with me for hours just letting me pet him or her, until my crying fits end.
