Bubs
With three different dog/pet/animal themed contests going on this week, I couldn’t resist sharing a few shots of my dog Bubs (the kids named him Bubbles, but none of us ever call him by his full name). Bubs came from our local shelter, and we think he is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix (Chiweenie), but that is only a guess based on his ears, which can never seem to decide whether to stick up or lay flat. Regardless of his exact breed (or mix of breeds) he is a great dog and a loved member of our family. He’s definitely a little crazy sometimes, but that’s exactly why he fits in so well.

...and I am a bit biased, but I think those big ears are adorable too. I love it when one is sticking up while the other is down.
I can completely relate! My dog Nova had ears that were too big for her head when she was a puppy. It was the cutest thing ever when they would stick up then flop back down
