Zeus in the wild 🌳🐶🌳
Hi Steemers! For those of you who don't know this is my dog Zeus 🐶
His favourite thing in the world is.... car rides!? Even if it's just a quick trip down the road, if he is in a car, he is happy!..
...so when we do go somewhere interesting he is always down to explore....
He prefers forests and fresh water streams/creeks over the beach... don't think he likes the waves and hot sand!
On a recent day out trying to find the elusive Northbrook Gorge on Mount Glorious, Zeus was in his element! Although we didn't make it there (no Zeus allowed) we still had fun exploring the nearby Red Cedar and White Cedar parks.
These parks are a beautiful little spot to explore and Northbrook Creek runs through both. Recent rain will determine water depth and flow. On this particular day water was ankle to knee deep.
Apart from the beautiful scenery, there are undercover tables and BBQs as well as restrooms. If we were more organised would of packed a picnic!
Needless to say Zeus wasn't too disappointed there wasn't a packed lunch, there were far too many new and interesting smells to discover!
All in all, Zeus wasn't the only one who enjoyed our day out in the wild ✌
The average dog can run about 19 mph. Greyhounds are the fastest dogs on Earth and can run at speeds of 45 mph.
