Weekly Top 20 Domain Name Sales - Week 33
Week of 04/01/19 to 04/07/19
We've got the domain sales results from the first week of April 2019. I've got to admit by the looks of the list it seems we're a bit lower than usual. This could be a number of things, but my guess is that there just haven't been a lot of great domains up at auction lately. I'm speaking from my own personal experience. I haven't seen a lot of great names dropping in awhile now. It seems like the last few months actually nothing much has peaked my interest at the auction sites. The inventory is there but the quality not so much. Lately, when I do find a halfway decent domain it quickly goes above my comfort level and then I simply don't participate in the auction. Apart from low quality inventory, perhaps people are getting more busy or simply financially limited as we head into spring as well as tax season!

About the Names
Today's list contained 15 .com domains, 2 .ai, 1 .org, 1.de, and 1 .win?
My favorites on the list include fiku.com, onions.com, virtualcash.com, heighten.com, organicavenue.com, sitdown.com, and verra.com. This is a handful of good domains but these prices are up there for my portfolio. The strange one from today is number 1, t.win. I don't pay a lot of attention to the new gTLDs so that could be why it's odd to me, but apart from reading it as a domain hack of the word, "twin" I just don't see the value of this domain at over $22K?! Job well done for the seller I guess!
