Imagine having bodies you could just piss away doing extreme activities and then suffer no consequences of what happens to those bodies because you just go back to your original one when the clone is done, its like replays in a video game.
It sounds like something a lot of folks would like to try, and if you had unlimited money, life would get boring. Couple that with hidden technologies...it's easy to see this going down.

Virtual reality has been pushed for decades. It’s finally getting adopted and will become the norm in society. Everyone will have an avatard, virtual Walmart’s as far as the eye can see lol

An old woman can be young again, a disabled man might walk again, they can do a lot and they rationalize their pleasure and experiences as worth more than our collective suffering.
I'm pretty sure I know how they are able to justify it too.
It's like the thief who blames the victim for leaving her car door open.
They blame us for being too stupid to figure it out, even though they tell us every day. We are dumb, therefor deserve all we get.
