Ancient 3 Calibrated

Ancient 3!

Played through the last game of my calibration today, and boy, was it intense. We accidentally (more like picked too quickly) drafted an almost all intel team, with the only exception being our drow ranger; and was matched up against some strong cores such as Magnus, Lifestealer, and QOP.

The early game was fine. As usual, our intel heroes quite confidently dominated the early stages, except for our offlane (Ally Pugna vs Oppo Trilane LS). The problem started, however, when they midgame came around and we had not much to counter the lifestealer with. Before I forget, this match was around 4.7k average (few divines, others mostly ancient 3-5s).

Our strongest hope for winning was actually our Tinker, he played rather well during the whole match and quite decently balanced out our disadvantages in the mid game. We had a huge upset when we won a fight that happened when they were sieging our T3s, keep in mind this was after they got the Rosh- so the upset was as big as we needed it to be.

Long story short, the game lasted for a stupidly long length- 90+minutes. In the end, we won the game as our tinker was heavily protected from the opponent team (Pugna, Oracle, Zeus + Forcestaffs and Capes). I calibrated at 4.7k with an Ancient 3 medal, not bad!
