Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and it has been the predominant cryptocurrency till date which has shaped the world of blockchain technology. Most of the people have never heard of blockchain technology or cryptocurrencies but many of them know about Bitcoin. Isn't this the sign of dominance of Bitcoin over altcoins?
However, technology always changes. Though, Bitcoin still holds the largest share in total market cap of cryptocurrencies, its position is slowly changing. There are many blockchains which are ready to challenge the dominance of Bitcoin.
