I am form Serbia and in my country the most expensive thing is to buy a house.
It will cost between 60 000-100 000$ althought renting a house is very cheap it costs from 200-500$ depending on the house.
The houses here are much much cheaper then in the USA and the income is much lower then USA (400-600$ average range monthly).

Thanks for the comment. Although in terms of absolute value, houses in Serbia is cheaper, the people there also have a lower income. Everything is relative
