Recently, I powered up and now I have 85 SP but, I still not have enough Resource Credit to make a much impression on this platform. I am still not able to write many posts and make comments or replies on your posts because my RC is too low.
If this is the condition of a user holding 85 SP, then what else one can say about a new user who don't have more than 15 SP. Steem price is dipping continuously and Steem's position is declining simultaneously as well, especially after HF20 in which RC was first introduced.
Low price for activities on steem will encourage new users and it will also allow them to interact more here which will eventually increase the value of Steem as it will become popular among the masses.

If Steem has more active users, then the price of the Steem will increase.
So, Steem needs not only/just more users, but more active users.
Steem already has a lot of users.
There are 1.2 million Steem accounts, but nowadays only less than 50 000 Steem accounts are active daily.
According to the last Steem Stats report by @penguinpablo (Daily Steem Stats Report - Thursday, August 8, 2019), the number of daily accounts transacting is around 40 000 in the last 8 days.
A lot a lot of (especially new) users are struggling with the interaction on the Steem blockchain. They don't have enough Resource Credits (RC) to use the Steem blockchain properly (for example to post enough comments).
This is another reason why people are left (and still leaving) the Steem blockchain.

Steem is changing into a ghost town. The top keeps selling so that is no sign of trust.

Yes, Steem is turning into a ghost town but, still the witnesses and Steem Inc. are not ready to change their way. They want to kill the hen who lays golden eggs.
