A computer technician told me he prefers Windows 8 to 10 because Windows 10 is more data consuming than 8 due to its constant updates and stuffs like that 😆..
It was a surprise to me because I always preferred 10 over 8. In fact, I have never even tried 8 on my machines.

That's because he doesn't know how to turn it off.
You can turn it off in the settings and/or change your connection settings to metered connection

On modern machines, definitely Windows 10. On older ones, maybe better W8.
