I am probably best described as a pantheist, the belief that reality is identical with divinity. Said another way, I believe that all real things compose an all-encompassing, immanent entity that it's quite handy, at times, to call God.

God in this sense is not a person with a flowing robe and a beard, nor a clique of such figures with hammers, spears and magic amulets. Rather God is a universe, which—incorporating a tendency to observe itself—can at times give rise to minds which afford a place for all these notions to bloom abide. And many more.
