Steemit is Joining the TRON Ecosystem - What Does It Mean For Us...?
I'm sure some of you already heard the news...
The news are very confusing, as it is extremely unclear what will happen to the STEEM Network. 🤔
I mean, SteemIt has control of some Witnesses and I'm sure many of the Top Witnesses are pretty much slaves of SteemIt. Whatever Ned does, they will follow, like blind lemmings being driven into an abyss. 🤢
SteemIt also has control of their own STEEM but not ours.
However, if you read the news, it does appear that SteemIt owns the entire STEEM Network and all of its users!!! 😱
"TRON and Steemit’s development teams will immediately begin working together to bring Steemit and other Steem blockchain-based DApps to TRON blockchain and its community of over 20 million users, products, and services."
"TRON Foundation and Steemit Inc. will look to create further value for their users and to augment their advancements in decentralized technologies, including moving old STEEM token to a new TRON based STEEM token..."
So, what will happen, if this move is made?
I don't think the SteemIt team can sell the entire network, including every single Tribe, unless we're all on board with this change. They can move their own website and their own STEEM to the Tron Blockchain, but the rest of the community will have to choose what to do.
I want to hear your thoughts on this. Do you think every witness will be willing to move to the Tron Blockchain?
- Yes. The Top Witnesses will move and the rest will follow.
- No. The Top Witnesses will reject such a move.
- Yes and No. A fork of the Steem Network will be the only solution. Part of the Network will move to TRON, the rest will remain at STEEM.

Yeah, this Network has proven to work pretty well. I don't see why we should be moving to a different Blockchain. 🤦♂️
