  • Yes.

Some of them already do.
There are dividend paying and upvote giving tokens, such as the Plankton token (PLKN), Epic token (EPC).
TheQuratorToken (Q) is also paying dividends (daily payouts from curation earned by @qurator), but I currently don't have any Qurator (Q) tokens.
