Yes i sent what ever $ value in STEEM i sent. If i had 10 $ of value in STEEM and STEEM price fell for 10% id have 9$ value in STEEM in my wallet.
But the way upvote services are set up, regardless of how the $ value fluctuates i still get more tokens if i gave them STEEM before the $ fell.
I lose $ value regardless, this way i get more tokens.

Ugh. They didnt give me back $12.34 worth of STU. At the time that you pay you get more $ then you payed for, always. But then the price of STEEM fluctuates. If i kept the $12.41 worth of steem in my wallet id have less $ value of STEEM regardless of paying for upvotes. But by paying the amount of tokens i pay i get more tokens back. They are worth less but now i have more of them then i started with.

All of the information is there. You do realize you're not getting the full 16 dollars or whatever this post says, right? A percentage of that also goes to those who voted and since you bought those votes, you gave them more than 15 steem, technically.
