long necked aliens, pencil drawing

Usually I have no issue relating to the characters and ideas i create; or at least can give them some interesting back story.

However as I blankly stare at this one, I have no idea about what the hell I just drew.

Not to say that its "so far out" or "totally unique" but there is an enigmatic quality to it (at least to me).

Anyway, this is still a work in progress. I wanted to draw this in pencil only, but I needed to step out of my comfort zone a little and risk using these cool metallic gel pens that I just ordered. I currently have gold, blue, red metallic pens.
