Dream Diary - 20/5/18

Good Morning!

This weekend I filled myself up on lots of BBQ food, Prosecco and donuts! Yep, I really went to town. Now I have work off everything I ate and more! Thankfully I was awake early and I got up and did my bodyweight workout. Here’s to a new week and getting back into the swing of things!

Sunday 20th May 2018

I dreamed I was out at a cafe with my best friend. She wanted to organise a birthday get together for me. My birthday was last month. She wanted to do it the day after another birthday bash. I really wasn’t feeling it. The last thing I wanted to do was to go out on the razz after I had just been out on one. I told her this and she suggested a spa and pampering day. I did think this was a good idea, but wasn’t sure my male friends were up for it. Plus I really didn’t feel like doing anything at all, but I didn’t want to hurt her feelings. I said I would go out for dinner and drinks. One of her friends was there and she said she wouldn’t be able to come because she already made plans. She had that attitude where she didn’t want to come so made up an excuse instead. I didn’t want her there anyway!

My dream changed to the restaurant. A whole room was booked for us. I saw loads of people sat at different tables. I saw some people that I only met recently from my husband’s reunion and I was sat at a table with a bunch of guys that I used to hang out with at a bar I used to go to all the time. I was sat next to one in particular. I knew him from the building I used to work in years ago. We were sat having our dinner. I remember my dinner was really sloppy mashed potato that was served in a wine glass!

I really do love my food as this weekend shows. I don’t think I would like sloppy mashed potato though, and why was it served in a wine glass?? That has to be a new, fashionable, culinary trend for sure! If I ever do have mash served to me in a wine glass, it will totally take me back to this dream. It was nice of my friend to organise something for me. I think I dreamed this because I know she is suffering at the moment and maybe this is a way to show I really need to make more of an effort (which I have been) to really show her how much I care for her and how much she means to me. Also, I am one of those people who doesn’t like the idea of going out, but once I am ’Out Out’ then I have such a great time and I don’t want to come home.
