Morning Steemit,

It’s Saturday, it’s cold and I am still in bed. It is 9:20am and my lovely husband has made me coffee whilst I’m sat in bed writing about my dreams from last night. Enjoy!

Friday 8th December 2017

I dreamed I was in a communal shower. There was a fat lady standing in the shower next to me. She was wearing a black swimming costume. They do say black is a ’slimming colour’ but that definitely didn’t do her any justice. She kept barging me with her big bottom. I looked at her with an icy stare. There was a free shower one away from her. I kept trying to hint that she should stand in the next shower, but she didn’t. Inconsiderate cow! Then I went to wash my hair I was looking for my shampoo but I couldn’t find any. Then I realised the shampoo was attached to the wall in a container. I pressed the pump at the bottom of the container and this purple shampoo came out. It was very thick! I tried rubbing it between my hands, but it felt like a big ball of putty. It was like putting rubber on my head!

Then I dreamed I was back at my first ever job at a frozen food store. I walked in. It had that same smell I remember from 20 years ago. Everything looked the same. The uniform, the layout, the staff. Nothing had changed. It was like being in a time warp! I said hello to everyone. Then there was a blonde girl that was working there that I didn’t know. She looked about 18 years old. She had long, straight, blonde hair. She was very slim. I said to her ”I know I am early for my shift.” She replied ”I’ve only got another 2 hours to work if you are taking over.” I went upstairs and I saw my youngest brother in law. He was in the staff room. I went to my old locker and I found a box of Tampax. I checked the date on it. The expiry date was 2008. ’I’m sure they will be ok.’ I thought to myself. I took one out of the box. The tampons girth was huge! It looked like it had rolled up blue, paper, hand towels in it that were sealed in cellophane. Whilst I was putting these tampons in my bag, I bumped into my brother in law and they fell out of my hands down the back of some old wooden floorboards. I bent down on hands and knees to get them, but it was so dirty and full of cobwebs down there.

Finally I dreamed I was in my spare room with my husband. He had made boiled eggs and had them in a plastic container. There was shell and bits of egg everywhere! I had an argument with him and picked up the eggs one by one and threw them at him. They were ’soft’ boiled eggs, so you could imagine the mess they made. Runny yolk everywhere!! Then I remember standing in my garage. There was a red Transit van parked in it. It wasn’t mine. Then Andi Peters - the TV personality, came out of the van and started talking to me. He was telling me how he was now a school teacher. We were sat on a concrete step drinking coffee. I looked at his hands and between his right thumb and forefinger was some words written in biro. It read ’I was ‘ere, class of 1996’.

Another set of dreams for you Steemers, what do we think of this? I have dreamed about going to my first place of work many times, even before I started writing about my dreams. Does it mean I wish I could start my life again from that moment? I have no idea. I don’t know what the communal shower meant or the weird shampoo. I have long, thick hair and it’s my pride and joy. Everyone compliments me on it, so I wonder what the shampoo meant. Any ideas? Well I do hope you liked todays read.
