Afternoon Steemit!

It’s really cold here in the UK. We have a quite a bit of snow. Travelled on the motorway for a good few hours and every 10 minutes or so, the snow was getting heavier. At one point it really did start to look like a blizzard was coming. Nevertheless, I am home in the warmth now and settled in to tell you about last night’s dream. Hope you like it.

Saturday 9th December 2017

I dreamt I was in my mum and dads old house. I was in the living room watching a film with my mum. It was a romantic film. Boy meets girl, girl meets boy, lots of drama happens and then they end up getting together. It was a lovely film. Quite a teary one. Anyway, after the film finished, we watched it again back to back. Once the film finished the second time round, I ended up dusting the TV stand. When I finished, I turned around and there were lots of big red ants everywhere in the living room. They were biting us all over the place. It felt like I was being eaten alive! I asked my mum for the hoover. I went round the living room hoovering all the little sods up!

Then I dreamed about two cats. One was a long haired, grey, fluffy one. The other was a short haired, striped, ginger cat and it had a white chest and paws. They were hugging each other whilst they were sleeping. They looked adorable! I didn’t want to disturb them, as much as I wanted to pick them both up for a cuddle. Then I turned my attention to food. I wanted chicken! There was no chicken. Even though I had nothing to eat, I fancied an after dinner cigarette! I don’t even smoke!!!

Finally I dreamed I was on a Big Wheel! It wasn’t your average slow wheel that takes you on a leisurely ride. It was one that goes upside down. I was in the open aired pod with my husband. A girl that I used to work with 18 years ago was operating the ride. The ride started to go and when I was approaching the part that goes upside down, my husband realised the safety bar wasn’t in place. It wasn’t just our one, everyone’s was unlocked. My husband and I looked at each other in a state of shock with our mouthes wide open. We knew this was the end. My eyes then zoomed in on the girl and she realised she hadn’t locked the bars in place and there was no way she could stop the machine!

That was one scary final dream. I’m glad I woke up before I dreamed about what was going to happen next. It’s twice in as many weeks I have seen something duplicate itself in my dream. I don’t know what the ants symbolise. At least the cats were cute. That was the best part. More cat dreams please!!
