The venue of a gathering is particularly important for providing the correct atmosphere for guests. This is true for any social meeting and the Japanese style garden is one that many feel a sense of calmness and tranquillity in. Koi fish ponds, water fountains and colourful trees are a wonderful environment to enjoy some elegant tea drinking in. While drinking a cup might seem trivial there is a certain way to enjoy the beverage in its traditional manner after it has been brewed.

After a sweet helping of Japanese sweets it will be time to consume the tea that had time to settle and infuse. Holding the cup of tea involves using the right hand as support as it is placed into the left palm.
