Does it feel magical and free to do this with VR? Do you truly feel as if you are up there?

I honestly thing I am going to get a rig like this when I am back at Toad Hall next Summer.

Well, you get immersed with the goggles into it, but it's still about operating a vehicle with a lot of limitations. You need to be aware of quite a few things to not get lost and crash it, like orientation in space because it all looks very different from above, and especially in the mountains where flying behind a hill would result in losing the signal. So you must always know where you are and where you must not fly. Then you need to keep in mind how far you can go and make it back before the battery goes flat. For the same reason you must be aware of the energy consumption - if you fly fast or high the flight time drops significantly. The same is the case when it's cold or when you are in a higher altitude where the air is thinner. Another limitation is your vision - you don't see these clear images like in the recorded footage but quite a horrible analog video. It's tricky to recognize features from above and especially in difficult light conditions like flying into the sunset can be very challenging.
