CES 2018 in Las Vegas: All underwater drone highlights at a glance

Okay. Since today I realize, that your interest in swimming and diving drones is bigger than to flying systems. So I will present you my personal underwater drone highlights of the CES 2018 in Las Vegas.

Thunder Tigers Seadragon has a weight of 12,800 grams. The boat measures 744 millimeters, can dive up to 200 meters deep, has integrated lights and is able to send a video picture in Full HD resolution to the controller. The maximum speed is 7.2 kilometers per hour.

The Gladius is a submarine with a maximum dive depth of 100 meters. The boat is equipped with a 4K camera for fantastic underwater shots and is easy to use. The live stream of Gladius can also easily be streamed and shared to social networks.

From the manufacturer Oysea comes the Fifish 3. The submarine has a high-end camera with 20 megapixels, a 1-inch Sony sensor and the ability to create 4K recordings. Powerful LEDs ensure perfect illumination. The boat can dive 100 meters deep, has different drive modes of travel and can stay underwater for two hours with one charge.

Biki is the current development of Robosea. It is a submarine that moves like a fish thanks to the caudal fin. Biki can either be controlled or moved in self-control mode. The dive depth of this gadget is 60 meters. The surgery time at round 2 hours. Equipped is the "fish" with a 4K camera.

The Whiteshark Nano is the entry-level submarine of the Chinese underwater specialist Sublue. The boat acts autonomously, following its owner and responding to gestures. The boat can be equipped with a number of different camera systems. It weighs 2,000 grams and is able to dive up to 33 meters deep.

The Whiteshark Mini is equipped with a Full HD camera and two powerful LEDs. The submarine from Sublue with a maximum depth of 75 meters weighs 2,800 grams is characterized by compact dimensions. The 200-watt drive allows speeds of up to 1.5 meters per second.

Awarded the well-known Red Dot Award, Whiteshark Max from Sublue has a lot to offer: including a maximum diving depth of 100 meters, a whole range of sensors, powerful LEDs and various camera solutions. The Max is also suitable for industrial applications and exploration trips.

Not under, but above water drives the PowerDolphin by PowerVision. The boat is RC controlled, has a swiveling 4K camera, can be optionally equipped with a Fish Finder sonar and can also transport payload. This is a kind of trailer that takes bait, fish food or rescue equipment among other things.
