Sorry for the late entry again.
So this is the track I had been working on for the pop music round. It's a rough draft but is still missing some pop'y vocals on top of it (working on something already).
If you imagine there to be vocals - what else is this track missing. Is it cheesy enough? Does it need more variety? Any other feedback you can give so that I can improve the track before my singer gets to it?

It's cheesy enough, I think ;) A very nice spread out mix, good build up without being too overwhelming. The thickness of the bass is quite effective. I like the light touches like the high keys at 2:25 and the gong at 2:23. Good chill vibe. As far as variety, I guess that depends on the singer. I think a female singer would work best, or something in a high register, to compliment the low bass line. If the vocal melody is in contrast to the fairly simple instrumentals, then that should fill out the track well enough. I look forward to the finished version.
