It's who we were...

After reading Walter Miller's book, I was inspired to write this soundtrack. The hymn to Leibowitz is a post-apocalyptic book. There was a war, civilization was thrown back by a strong blow, the negative in science arose and too smart upstarts were sent to the forefathers. Leibowitz, a nuclear weapons specialist, lost his family after the Holocaust and struck religion. He founded the Order of the Catholic Church, whose monks were confronted with the task of preserving those seeds of knowledge that had shifted before the war. Despite the fact that the monks themselves were not "included" in the nuances of the fundamental sciences, they were motivated by the hope that soon this knowledge would help return to the old basics . On the part of the writer an attempt is made to betroth science and strength, religion and technology.
