I call people on the phone to take opinion surveys. Sorry to bother you. RESPECT
Well if it's done politely and people haven't opted out of receiving the calls then it's fine but this is really aimed at those rude people who pretend they care about you but slam the phone down as soon as you are not willing to answer their questions or buy their product/service.. :-)
and after you hang up on them they call you right back and say in a creepy voice "but i like calling you" :)

I always conduct the most polite phone calls and love it when the people I speak to do the same.Sometimes I am surprised how upset people get by my simply calling them. It is all about RESPECT.
Well you are one of the rare ones so good on you. :-)
You have to see it from other people's point of view though. They may have been sitting down having dinner or relaxing with a good book and the phone rings and it is just someone being disingenuous and trying to sell them something.
Once a week would not be a problem but with automated systems it can be multiple times a day. It is an invasion of privacy when it gets like that and it is very annoying.
