EP13: Whole of a Whole
Back around 2012, Felisa Wolfe-Simon found an odd organism floating in Mono Lake, California.
She took them home and fed them a whole bunch of sugar and arsenic. To her delight, the little beings thrived in the poison water.
GFAJ-1 might just be a life form that evolved without the use of what humans think of as
the needed building blocks of life.
There are a lot of different extremeophoiles out there, a lot of different organisms that
could slowly form intelligence over time. If we stop thinking of extraterrestrial life as an occurrence so similar to our own,
we might look and find,
that we have more neighbors than we think.
I am alway interested in talking this over with people, no subject is too strange.
