Monday is the day of the week that the ancients dedicated to the Moon.
Robert Graves in his essay indicates the Moon as "The white goddess". The book tells of a distant time and how the Moon was one of the first ancestral deities worshiped by men. It is narrated how this cult has crossed the centuries until it reaches, light and weak, up to the present day.
