YouTube Doesn't Care About Their Creators [Rant]

in #dtube5 years ago

YouTube does not care about its creators. They recently hit a smaller channel by disabling mobile streaming if you're under 1K subs. This was in response to that tool streaming that Christchurch thing

I get they are trying to prevent people from streaming bad things. Le's pretend the guy had over 1K followers on his page. Taking streaming away from small YouTubers won't stop future tragedies.
I feel instead they can review your channel/content.

Use streamlabs to livestream to Youtube.

https://streamlabs.com/

You can install on both Desktop and on Mobile. The settings from each held in your streamlabs account. So you can access the more detailed settings via desktop and save, then they will be present on the mobile app too. You title your stream in the Youtube Stream Settings and that will be picked up and added to the Streamlabs initiated stream. It is as simple as going into the streamlabs app and clicking the go live button, you will then be connected and live streaming on youtube. Stream labs also has donation options for viewers to donate.

Here is a sample I streamed a few days back.

How do you upload in such good resolution? Is this higher than 480. I have had trouble uploading anything in resolution higher than 480.

When I render the video I render it in 1080P or 720P. So that probably is a part of the reason.
