Personally, and I know your post wasn't directed at me, I have nothing against microblogging Style posts and people can actually publish whatever they want, I'm just not going to vote on them 🤷 I prefer to reward other kind of content, I appreciate longer posts, or with a lot of pictures, or long videos. Micro posts don't attract my attention at all.
but that is the beauty of it. You don't have to but if people are not letting others post how they want then that to me is a problem......
No one should get put down unless they steal another person's post......and I have had that happen more than once...........
but in the end, it is our right to vote on whatever we wish........ same as writing what we want and how.

Exactly! That's one of the best parts of the Blockchain! No censorship nor rules about content creation :)
What's this all about? Is there people trying to police the way content is being published? Regarding format, not content per se.

yeah, that is what he is saying in his video........ that people that like to do 'whatever he calls it' are being told they are "blogging wrong" on Steem(it). .......
and agree it's just so wrong...... the whole point of this blockchain is freedom to create how we all want.... if we all did the same thing how boring it would be.

As I said this probably won't get me on the good side of many of the bigger users in here... 🤣 For some reason I have been here for so long and I still have such small influence lol I tend to bring this conversations to the table and obviously no one like to be called out. Lol

I don't do drama but I do stand of for peoples right to post what they want as long as they don't steal.
It is not about wrong or right. But I feel that bigger Influencers in here and people that have built themselves as creators by doing extensive type of posts look down to all other type of creators in the platform.
How can we explain the lack of traffic in platforms like Steepshot, Appics. How can we explain the death of zappl?

Yes for sure it is one of the good things. But don't you feel that people that do longer format type of content look down to people that do microblogging and look at their business from a more lifestyle type of approach.
The the old fart thing I said on the video was not an age reference but a reference to people that have been on steemit since the beginning eheheh

Eheheh no... When I called out old farts was not a age related thing... It was a reference to when you have joined the community. 😉 I am younger than you and I am an old fart in here lolol and I am jealous of your white hair by the way. Eheheh
I do think all the types of content are important and I try to support as many projects I can. But when it comes to grow the number of people we have here we would have way better results if we focus a little bit more in supporting some of the microblogging platforms we have here and some of their creators.
Also creating this type of posts are not as easy as people thing. They still take a lot of time and are very energy consuming. Because it means I have to be online more often and working on getting them content out there... Everyday... Many times a day.

Yeah this is not directed to anyone is specific... Just in general for the people that have been here for a long time and are on the top. I understand and respect your opinion and Your taste. We just consume different kind of content and the reason I have decided to do this call out and bring this to the conversation it is because nowadays all over the Internet microblogging is way more popular and get bigger audiences than extensive type of blog posts. I feel that as a community no matter if we like or not that type of content people like You that are big members in the community, that have a bigger influence and power should be support a little bit more that type of projects and content creators if we want to keep growing the traffic and the number of people that come and join us. Because right now there are already a lot of great dapp on the Steem network that allow that to work but still the dapps that better results and more users are steemit interfaces like busy, esteem, Partiko, Steempeak, ulog and so on. I obviously have nothing against that type of content and I think it is very important. But I am looking at the bigger picture and thinking about the evolution and where we could go with it. ❤️ This was not a personal attack at no one. Just a stream of conscious eheheh
