landscape watercolor, improvvisation without drawing

Today I publish a video to show how a landscape can be created with the difficult technique of watercolor.
It must be kept in mind that there is no such thing as a classic watercolor.
The light is determined by the white of the paper on the sheet and then is painted by overlapping color and veiling, starting from the lightest grades and finally coloring the shadows with dark tones.
As you can see you work in negative, as opposed to other painting techniques that include the addition of whites and brightness at the end.
The watercolor does not allow for second thoughts and the colors can not be deleted, but only superimposed one on top of the other.

Oggi pubblico un video per mostrare come si può realizzare un paesaggio con la difficile tecnica dell'acquarello.
Bisogna tenere presente che non esiste il biano per un acquarello classico.
La luce è determinata dal bianco della carta del foglio e quindi si dipinge per sovrapposizioni di colore e velature, partendo dai colori più chiari per gradi ed infine colorare le ombre con i toni scuri.
Come potete rendevi conto si lavoro in negativo, al contrario di altre tecniche pittoriche che prevedono l'aggiunta dei bianchi e delle luminosità alla fine.
L'acquarello non permette ripensamenti ed i colori non possono essere cancellati, ma solo sovrapposti l'uno con l'altro.
