Doing More Than What’s Needed Gets You Further Ahead

Doing more than what you need to do, gets you further ahead. It’s just as simple as that. You see, you have goals that you’re trying to accomplish. There are certain things you need to do in order to accomplish those goals. If you do those things but more of them, you’ll be further ahead than you otherwise would.

Of course you shouldn’t overdue things as well. It’s like running an extra thirty seconds when you feel like you’ve got nothing left. Maybe it’s spending an extra hour and a half practicing those chords on the guitar. For me, often it’s drawing a more than what I planned on drawing for the day. Whatever it is, you’re putting forth more effort and doing more than what’s necessary.
