Another video, yet again, exploring the underappreciated intricate features of the STEEM BLOCKCHAIN that makes it awesome.

The magic here is how your SP allows to utilize more of the VP feature. I am not talking about who and how to, but why it is important...just to. Hoarding onto a full mana is doing nothing good for anyone. The more you give - the more you get, the more you give-the more stronger our community becomes.

Yes, I know you might want to hoard on to your mana for that one perfect post that you would love to applaud with full strength, but what if there is a perfect post but you never come across it? Or what if you have to wait a long time to come across it? The way I see it, it is much better to start utilizing your voting potential before it starts stagnating and smelly...ewwww

This really is a good call. The difference between your nothing vote and your 100% vote is not that substantial if you are like me. At this low steem price, I simply try and spread the love around to as many folks as possible even though it is not much now.

In order to not reward dust that gets swept away without reward (anything under ~$.02 will become dust) I make sure I upvote engagement with at least that much. For posts I like or people/causes i deem more worthy, I will upvote higher but usually, even below $.02 will work because of the other upvotes.

Anyhow, I agree your vote may be the one that encourages someone new to stay and prosper. So do it! When steem is $4 again, my .02 vote will be worth .20 if they power up/vest it and that is worth considering.
