Dancing Horses And Easter Week Celebrations In Lo de Marcos, Nayarit Mexico

The Easter Holiday here in Mexico is a two week celebration. It’s a two week vacation from school similar to Spring Break in the states. Not only are schools closed, but many businesses as well. This is a time when many Mexican families go on holiday and fill all the beach towns with festivities. Semana Santa or Holy Week is the week prior to Easter. It begins with Palm Sunday and ends on Easter Saturday. The celebrations continue for Semana Pascua (Easter Week.) In this video I show the beautifully decorated town square and horses dancing in the streets.
