Blender EEVEE Animation Test 2

Another take on my previous scene that I uploaded recently.
It is made in Blender 2.8 with the new rendering engine EEVEE. This build is still in beta, so it is experimental and can crash at any time. It is meant to use only for testing, not for regular work.

In this one I start with the camera low and slowly go up with real close up shot to the sculpture. I needed to adjust the clipping settings on the camera, so it doesn't clip when it is this close to the object.

The sculpture itself, I sculpted a couple of months ago combining two different styles in it. It is a pretty simple one, a part of my learning process. I imagined this one to be used in scenes where it stands on the entry on some gate, like in Lord of the rings styles 😊. It stands there for ages and keeps the gates safe.

The volume scatter shader is still in the scene, giving it that fogy feeling.

The lighting is composed from three area lights, with different color, from different angle.

The quality of the video is still not to my satisfaction. Will keep going and try to improve it.

The next one should be the one. Also, a little bit longer one and rich with content 😊
