The 90s was a defining time in Dancehall music. The riddims became distinct and artiste weren't influenced much by foreign rappers. This is the dancehall that the hardcore fans yearn for. But like all forms of music, there is an evolution, it must grow and transform into something new. I think the Dancehall being released now is the sound of the times. Many may say it is watered down dancehall, but it is the evolution of the sound. Music never stays static. Enjoy this 90s mix with many of the hits that defined the times.

    I just listened to the intro and i could tell I'll enjoy this mix. Imma listen to it when i drive home from work in a couple hours. This the music i grew up on, but i still love the new age dancehall. Music has to evolve nothing can stay the same forever. Its time i want to hear some 80's 90's dancehall then times i want some new school tunez.
