RE: The Reasons/Need For "Psychological Clinging" To The Social Media

in #dtube5 years ago

My friend is a psychologist and I’ve been in her group before. What you ate saying is exactly correct. People just want to be witnessed, not judged or given advice. Sometimes they just need someone to listen.

The thing about social media a lot of the times is people ignore these kinds of posts making the person feel more inferior. I knew if one girl who was reaching out in social media but no one paid her any attention. She ended up committing suicide. I went to high school with her. Social media is becoming a more open and empathy driven world but still has a far way to go. Most cannot handle witnessing these types of actions when one is reaching out for help. They don’t no how to respond. And we as black people rarely want to seek professional help. But that is also slowly changing.

Good vlog as usual man.

Definitely thanks for your amazing feedback really, you're exactly on point on my stances here, sometimes we gotta give people the benefit of speaking, feeling what they want because pain is not relative and because it isn't really we can't say w need to really to understand people when we don't really. At the end we must understand a person's position before we definitely dismiss them as being immature to vent their anger in the media.
