Margarita, tus playas soñadoras invitan al amor y al placer;
tu dulce, nombre bello de mujer, se viste de bellísimas auroras
tus mujeres, perlas y corales, le dan al poeta inspiración,
¡Bendito sea por siempre tu terrón!,
nidales de palomas y turpiales.(Bis)
Ave marina, tierra espartana, color de grana tus hembras son;
cual bella rosa que se engalana, bajo el delirio de una pasión.
Aunque tus campos se que el estío, siempre conservas alguna flor
flor de esperanza donde el rocío imprime tersos versos de amor.

Margarita, your dreamy beaches invite to love and pleasure;
your sweet, beautiful name of woman, dresses in beautiful auroras
