Another match up of Wild Card contenders in the N.L. took place on Monday.

The New York Mets and Arizona Diamondbacks squared off. It was the Pete and Jacob show.

Met ace Jacob deGrom went 7 innings, yielding only a HR to former Met, Wilmer Flores. Pete Alonso provided all the offense Jake would need with 2 HRs. This gives him a league leading 47 on the year.

The teams face each other three more times this week.
