Alonso's walk-off walk wins it for the Mets | Phillies-Mets Game Highlights 9/6/19

The National League Wild Card race pitted the Mets and Phillies against each other Friday night.

In a wild game, the Mets pulled out a 5-4 victory.

Steven Matz was solid over 5 2/3 innings, allowing just two runs. He left with the game tied.

In the bottom of the 8th, the Mets scored two to enter the 9th up 4-2. Edwin Diaz came on for the save with Seth Lugo unavailable and yielded a two-run HR to Reamulto.

After two quick outs in the bottom of the 9th, the Mets were able to load the bases. The game ended with Pete Alonso working out a walk with the bases juiced.

It was a literal walk off win.
