Vlog 175: 2018 started of with a bang! +$3 STEEM + Steem blockchain quickly explained for new users + future plans.

The beginning of this video is more of a fast explanation of the Steem blockchain for everyone that is new to STEEM in 2018.
There is so much more to learn but I hope this video will kickstart your experience.
I talk about earning crypto on the Steem blockchain through creating content, creating app/frontends and how you can monetize them, earn crypto through becoming a witness and even monetizing your own skills (like logo design) for STEEM.
I also quickly touch on the main aspect of the Steem blockchain that makes it function so well.

Steem price is currently $3.15. Fantastic! What a way to start the year.

Steem is indeed one of the best blockchains around at the moment.
The three second block time is really a fantastic feature.
People have misconception that blockchain means at least 15 mins, but they are wrong, come and experience steem blockchain and see how fast it is.
This is just the beginning, must more exciting times to come in 2018 for this blockchain

2018 is going to be very very special for steem, higher price of steem means the number of steem tokens will be less and the inflation will also be less which is again a great news for all hodlers of steem and we can see further price appreciation in steem.

Steem starts with $3, hope steem don't look back and keep on improving the quality of steemit.
If I get this right. In a way steem is like ETHER.
ETHER has ERC-20 token
STEEM has SMT
ETHER uses gas for transaction.
STEEM uses bandwidth, or SP.
Hope this analogy is right.
@exyle I got a chance this morning to explain to my Girlfriend how renting Steem Power works. Now She is all excited about getting involved since she understands Real Estate and how growing her income streams can benefit her. I love her a lot and she is starting to get it. 2018 the light bulb is coming..........
