Did CNN Retaliate Against Fox News?

Remember when Fox News post a picture of Ruth Bader Ginsburg as if she passed away? It was false, of course and they have since apologized, but CNN may have retaliated none-the-less. In fact, it may have been done "media style". You post a false picture on LIVE television -- so will we. And they did.

CNN claims that there must have been glitch when Gov Northam was on LIVE television and the caption below stated that Northam was a Republican. Problem with that...? Gov Northam is a Democrat.
Can someone say "Counter- Punch"? #TrumpStyle if you ask me. It was weak, not like a REAL Trump Style Counter- Punch, but a counter- punch none-the-less.
